How location search works on MUAIn.UK

Each city page below lists makeup artists working within 25 miles of that city. That radius matters more than it might sound: most MUAs travel to their clients rather than working from a fixed studio, so an artist based one town over may well cover your venue. Artists set their own travel radius on their profile, and it is shown on every listing.

The 30 cities below are starting points, not the limit of our coverage. If you live somewhere smaller, search by postcode instead — that searches outward from your exact location rather than from a city centre, which usually turns up artists a city page would miss. Postcode search works anywhere in the UK.

What you'll find on a city page

Every artist listing shows their portfolio, the services they offer, their price range and how far they travel. You contact artists directly — by phone, Instagram or their own website. MUAIn.UK doesn't sit in the middle of your booking, take a commission, or handle payment between you and your artist.

Artists are shown at city level only. We use postcodes to work out distance, but an artist's exact address is never published — a point worth knowing if you're an MUA working from home and weighing up whether to list.
